WHAT IS HYPNOSIS?

AND HOW IT HELPS

In reality, Hypnosis bears little resemblance to most stereotyped images. Hypnosis is one of the most fascinating, yet least explored phenomena in Psychology. Hypnosis is best described as a deep state of relaxation and concentration; a tailored meditation session. Hypnosis is the bypass of the critical factor of the conscious mind and the establishment of acceptable selective thinking. Our subconscious mind is where we store patterns of behavior. These are the behaviors which we have developed over time and have created patterns of action/response related to events that happen within our environments. The subconscious mind is also where we store our beliefs, beliefs we have formed over our lifetime about ourselves and the world around us. The process of hypnosis distracts the conscious mind with deep relaxation to the point where it is no longer critical of positive suggestions, allowing information supportive of your desired goal to enter the subconscious mind. Due to the permanent advantages of hypnosis, it has gained popularity among celebrities, professional athletes and in medicine.
